How to Use TikTok for Your Business

Start by downloading TikTok and search for videos that apply to you and your business. Once you understand the content and the community, you can apply it to your knowledge and expertise. You should like and engage with content that you like so the algorithm can show you videos that apply to you.

Using a video editing app such as InShot may be easier than editing directly on TikTok. You can use this editing app to create a voice-over for your video. You will want to add music, captions, and a title to your video. This video can be reused on Instagram Reels. You should add between 3 and 7 hashtags that resonate with your content.

How to Connect with and Inspire Others

TikTok videos can be personal and you can share advice and answer questions. TikTok offers an option for Q&A where you can answer questions from your audience. You can also “stitch” a video where a question was posed and answer the question. You do not have to show your face, you can post a video and create a voice-over for it.

People tend to like authentic videos so they do not need to have high production quality. TikTok can also be a great place for affiliate marketing, you can link a product in the comments of your videos. TikTok videos can be done in many formats to engage your audience, such as dressing as different characters to tell a story or to create videos in parts.

How to Get Comfortable on Video

The community on TikTok tends to be kind and free of internet trolls. When negative comments are posted on a video, people usually stick up for the video creator.

The videos do not need to have high production quality so just create a video to get started. If you are afraid to have your face or voice in a video there are many video formats to fit your level of comfort.
