Airtable offers a lifetime free plan that provides 2GB of storage per base. Airtable allows you to create an unlimited number of bases as well as workspaces. If you run out of storage, you can create a new base for 2GB more. You may wish to upgrade to a paid plan if you need to store more than 1,200 records, but you can break the records up into separate bases to avoid that.

Airtable can be set up in different ways, so it is user-friendly for anyone. The program allows you to customize everything, so it is catered to your specific needs. Airtable allows users on multiple devices to collaborate in real time. The program can be used on desktops, tablets, phones, and laptops.

Layouts on Airtable

Airtable can be set up in several ways to suit your preference. You can set it up like a spreadsheet with rows and columns in grid view, but there are other options as well. Gallery view is similar to how a Pinterest board is set up so it can be useful for visuals.

Airtable offers a kanban style, if you have transitioned from Trello to Airtable, this style will be similar. The kanban format can be useful for planning and to-do lists. Calendar view can help you to keep track of upcoming dates and plan for your business. Another feature that Airtable offers is forms. This is like Google Forms and can be used to share forms with your team and collect data from your audience.

Spreadsheet Functions

Using the spreadsheet feature on Airtable allows you to perform many tasks. Formulas can be used to customize and organize your spreadsheet. You can perform data manipulations with calculations to perform many tasks. If you choose to not use formulas, Airtable can still perform these functions for you. One option is grouping, you can group data that is related in order to organize your data.

You can also sort your data. Data can be sorted in several ways such as alphabetical order or in ascending or descending order for numerical data and these can be used simultaneously. You can also filter your data to only see data relevant to your task.
